Tips to Maintain Your Voice

- ractice regularly: My guru often says that unfortunately, there is no shortcut for practice.😅 Regular practice will keep your voice in good shape. Take 1 or 2 hours off your busy routine and spend time to practice. This not only refreshes your mind but also helps maintain a good voice. Early morning riaz has wonderful effect on your voice. It improves the texture of your voice and also improves your vocal range.
- Keep yourself hydrated: Water does miracles for maintaining your voice. It is not only good for your voice but your overall health. Drinking 3-4 liters of water a day keeps your body hydrated and also helps keep your voice in shape.
- Avoid cold beverages : Every profession needs some sacrifice and being a singer is really challenging since most of us are sensitive to cold beverages, ice creams etc,. Try to curb these temptations and the by-product is your voice sounding good!
- Maintain your pitch : Choose the right pitch that suits your voice and stick to that scale. Practicing in your comfort zone also helps nurturing your voice. Changing your scale very often has adverse effect on your voice.
